Melissa Jun Rowley

Melissa Jun Rowley is the founder and CEO of Warrior Love Productions, a web3 production studio and communications agency, building projects and protocols to foster a more equitable future. She and the international Warrior Love team of journalists, filmmakers, developers, marketing creatives and web3 advisors believe in the power of community, technology, and storytelling to drive social change. The company is currently working with NEAR Protocol to provide a film3 incubator program for social impact filmmakers around the world. They're also creating a first-of-its kind charity protocol and NFT collection with the international nonprofit, CARE.org, to provide web3 education to women everywhere.

In another life, Melissa covered award shows and movie premieres for CNN and Associated Press Television News. She also produced business news from the New York Stock Exchange. A self-proclaimed compulsive traveler, Melissa has a passion for spotlighting entrepreneurs in developing countries, who are taking on the world's toughest problems and uplifting their communities. Her written work has appeared in BBC News, Forbes, Rolling Stone, Fast Company, The Guardian, and several other media outlets.

 

Cat George

Cat George is an intrepid entrepreneur ecosystem enthusiast. She spearheads global community building in addition to providing writing and editorial expertise from her experience launching her own e-commerce company. Always on the lookout for innovative founders and creators to connect with and support, Cat is passionate about entrepreneurial communities around the world to shed light on impact-driving stories. She has worked with hundreds of founders, mentors, and investors at Endeavor Global and as a Fellow at Puerto Rico‘s leading startup accelerator, Parallel18. Prior to relocating to Puerto Rico, she was a founding team member of Unreasonable Group which catalyzes growth-stage social entrepreneurs – a portfolio that has impacted over 720M lives in 180+ countries. She has led campaigns for brands such as World Bank, Tommy Hilfiger, Amazon Web Services, Booking, Nokia, and others to recruit top founders for entrepreneur programs. She started her career at the Red Cross in Colorado in fundraising and communications. She's lived and worked in 6 countries and Spanglish is her favorite language.

Lisa Wills is the Development and Creative Producer at WLP. With a background in corporate sales and consulting, she focuses are mixing her skills in business with her passion for storytelling to ensure the best results for Warrior Love clients, including script editing, coverages and pitching. Since a young age, she has been fascinated by Film and TV and the way we tell stories. Lisa is committed to advancing the inclusivity of the entertainment industry by telling the raw and overlooked stories of cultures around the world. You can usually find Lisa watching her favorite TV shows, dancing to bad pop music, and discovering new podcasts.

 

Sandra ponce de leon

Sandra Ponce de Leon is our entrepreneurial marketing consultant. A veteran start-up executive with over 15 years launching brands and innovative technologies, she leads marketing strategy for our client, Untapped Global. Sandra has experience taking several companies through to successful exits and has a broad base of expertise in B2B, SaaS, ocean tech, additive manufacturing, industrial IoT, social impact, and AI. An advocate of sustainability and regenerative brands, Sandra is the Principal of the Blue Economy Agency, a full-stack marketing, and PR agency, promoting new technologies designed to protect our ocean. Sandra’s long history in Silicon Valley has enabled her to forge friendships and business relationships with the industry's top tech leaders and influencers. Always on the pulse of emerging tech, she writes regularly for GritDaily and previously Forbes.

Visionnaire

Visionnaire (vsn for short) is an aural project, philosophy, and brand that imagines new futures for People of Culture. The tenets of vsn are identity, anonymity, compassion, and equity as 4 steps toward enlightenment through culture, music, and visual art.
The artist behind vsn works with WLP as a creative director and tokenomics consultant. His perspective imbues each project with unique Web3 integrations and utilities that shape go-to-market and community engagement, while completing the brand’s fundamental mission through the campaign.

Shelby Bennett

Shelby Bennett is a digital media specialist and seasoned videographer, photographer, and editor with production/post-production credits spanning global marketing/entertainment brands in a variety of genres and content mediums, including virtual reality. A hybrid mix of left and right-brained, she's a creative "Jane of All Trades" with passions for people, art, technology, nature, philosophy, and most of all, storytelling. Notable credits include scripted content for Disney, The CW, Carnival Cruise Line, and Universal Pictures Brasil, as well as unscripted content for Burton Snowboards, TomorrowWorld, and iHeartMedia.

From the conception of an idea to the last percentage of encoding, Shelby has a deep respect for the art and process of storytelling. From the start, Shelby's time spent working in production quickly solidified her belief that it's imperative for filmmaking to be much more inclusive and diverse. In order for more people to share thought-provoking stories that create a better future, more doors need to be opened in entertainment. Shelby believes Web3 is one of those doors and she's thrilled to be a part of the positive push it brings. For the last year, she has dedicated her storytelling and producing talents to supporting the growth of communities within the space.
